We were referred to Christine by NextDoor. We needed help choosing interior paint colors for our new house because my husband and I had COMPLETELY different visions of what we wanted. I was pretty skeptical that she would be able to help us but given the investment we were about to make in professionally painting our house it seemed worth it to invest in a couple of hours to have a professional’s eye and to help mediate our differences. Christine was AMAZING. She was able to assist us in picking our colors – efficiently and with both my husband and I SO EXCITED to see our choices brought to life. I had heard about Christine from a friend of mine and needed a stager for a property I was selling. Most staging companies prefer to do the “once over” job with furniture, paint, landscaping etc… It’s expensive for some homeowners and worth it in order to sell for top dollar.

In this scenario, there wasn’t a lot of disposable money available to get the house prepped for selling. Christine came in and suggested color and flooring selections…random furniture and accessories to tie everything together on a budget. It was refreshing for clients to add simple touches throughout the house while using some of their own items to keep the staging budget affordable and real.

I hired Chris to help me with our new classroom space. The place was a disaster when she came in, with old, white walls, and ripped up blue carpet. It has tall, north-facing windows, so plenty of sunlight during the day with little direct sun. It didn’t take her long to come up with a sort of light beige color with a mocha carpet combination. That didn’t sound like great colors to me (we were thinking more colorful, etc.), however she promised it would be just right for workshops.

She was right. Once I painted and put the carpet in, it had a very calming influence without reducing energy. It’s been perfect for our workshops and other meetings. We added a little splash, at her suggestion, with some furniture.

We purchased a new home in Scottsdale but knew we had to change out all of the flooring and tile and completely repaint before we moved in. We brought home a dozen paint samples over time, painting samples of each on several walls. Every time we thought we had made a decision the paint colors would change due to daily if not hourly changes in natural light in the different areas of the home.
